- Wheeler Family stay was so comfortable and easy We traveled to Santa Cruz to spend Thanksgiving with our son who is going to school in Santa Cruz. The Hampton stay was so comfortable and easy. First and very important they have amazingly soft sheets, comfy beds and pillows. Not the scratchy sheets we have all experienced over the years at various hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hampton is next door to Denny's and also walking distance to a great Diner so it was easy to grab a bite to eat. The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. We will be sure to stay there again when we return. - Dantre Staff was super friendly & helpful Best place we've stayed in several years of travel. The check-in staff at the Hampton Inn Santa Cruz was incredibly friendly. I arrived before my room was ready and they made the effort to find a room that was ready. The manager also suggested a good place nearby to eat. I was in an upgraded room and the furniture was beautiful. The living area gave me plenty of room to work and everything was comfortable. And the people at the desk, both on the evening shift and the early shift, were as friendly, thorough and sweet as could be! And finally, my mother, who is 84 years old, was with me and slow to get to the breakfast table.
